has anyone had any experience with VIS racing replica lips?
if so, hows the fitment? I'm undecided on what lip i'll be getting but thats the next purchase once the tsx is dropped besides fogs.

yeah I didnt know that VIS made replica lips either. I'd say just get the A-Spec lip cause they come painted but if you want a more aggressive look then go with the Mugen or Mugen Replica (Nextmod)

^^ yep thats the one i was looking at if I was going to get a replica. if not i was just going to go with aspec front lip. I can get CGP in a aerosol can with clear coat and paint it when i paint my euro r grille so getting it painted isn't an issue for me if i go with the replica.
If you end up getting it before me, post pics up.. i'm interested to see the fitment.

You do not want to paint your front lip with aerosol can. Especially the front lip. It will crack and peel faster than you know. I have no problem painting parts, like the lip spoiler, trim pieces or grill. But when it comes to lip parts, its money better spent getting it professionally done.

Seems like a good value...might consider it. VIS makes great stuff.

its actually high quality automotive finish paint they put in a can. i'll be getting it from these guys: Welcome to BAPS. A friend painted his lip from the same stuff and it looks factory and its still holding up. now if it was stuff from autozone or something.. i'd see where you were coming from.
but anyway.. this will be an anniversary gift from my boyfriend so we'll see in August how this lip will fit. if anyone gets it before please post up pics and fitment issues if there's any!

Once I stop by their store and talk to them I'll let you know. All the info I have right now is from their site. I've just heard alot of success stories about their stuff so figure I'd try it out.

I would love to see that lip in CF. I was planning on carbon fiber wrapping the real euro lip.

It looks pretty good I couldn't fitted it to my car or his since he was driving back up to toronto and I have the aspec lip on.
The euro r lip needs to drill some holes so hes going to get them drilled then recleared. The pictures I have aren't with me.
The weave was quite nice, I previously helped him get a cf spoiler as well (mugen)
so its good work.

If you TSX is black, I say go with the Carbon Fiber otherwise stay around from Fiberglass. The paint will crack like a spider web easily from a light debris...
