I was referring to the OEM pinstripe that goes from the front fender to the rear of the car. Can't stand it :/

I don't think I've seen that as being an OEM item. More of people adding it on afterwards.

lol... definitely not OEM. Your dealer must've put that on. Some of them are conservative that way. I'd try raising one end of each stripe with a razor blade, or your fingernail if you got sharp fingernails (carefully, not to scratch the paint), and because your car is still new, the stripe should peel off relatively nicely. Just do it slowly, so it doesn't break. Then left over mark can be removed with claybar, or a buffer. That's what I'd try. But I'm not a professional detailer, so there may be better methods for that.
You can also assist in taking the stripes off with a hair-dryer, to heat up the pinstripe.

I changed the name of the thread a little, because "Advice!" alone was not very informative

Hm, might be a dealer thing, but it does have an A symbol where the door and fender meet which led me to believe it was OEM. I saw an 06 accord last night with the same thing, cept with an H. I'll try to find some pictures.

having an A or H on the pinstripe doesn't mean it's OEM. Some dealers make all their cars more unique by applying certain "extra" things to it. Just like the dealership's name on the back of the car. Some cars will simply have a sticker with dealerships's name on it, and some have custom emblems (with delaership's name) that the dealer attaches to the rear of every of their cars.

Some dealers put pinstripes on many or most of their cars. They they try to get you to pay for it on the sticker. That and "paint protection" and other things you didn't ask for.

Aside from getting extra money for it, pinstripes can have a certain appeal. I personally don't want them on my car, but it's cheaper than, say, a spoiler, but it similarly adds some "zing". Some cars probably could use a pinstripe or 2.

back to the question!

just use a hairdryer to warm the pinstripe/glue a little and it's easy to take of. Removed a lot of pinstripes on my civic once with this method.

Might be hard to see in this picture but mine has a pin-stripe too. I initially thought about removing it but it doesn't look bad.

yeah, I don't think pinstiping was meant for cars like the TSX or TL. It's a an older wave.
