What is the best wax? (w/Pics)
I'm looking to get the best shine possible, there are so many waxes out there. I dont know what to choose, I'm considering either Meguiars nxt or zaino. I'm currently using Zymol and looking to upgrade. So if any one could give some feedback on what they think is the best.

Zaino isnt exactly wax... Im not too familur on the whole Zaino thing, but some people sware by it...
Personally my two favorite Waxes are:
Meguiars NXT
*Mothers Reflections*
Both amazing waxes, Zymol's good especially when it comes to hiding scratches, but those two are prob the best on the market... turtle wax just came out w/ a new one "Gold Class" I havent used it yet, but its developing a small cult following allready...
I usually do the Meguiars NXT, and if I feel like it, ill do a coat of Mothers Reflections over it...That makes one hell of a deep glosy shine

Memphis, I purchased both products I was very pleased with the shine. The only complaint I have was the chalky residue after wax was removed. How many coats do you use of each to maximize shine and protection.

i'm very happy with the NXT wax, in conjunction with the NXT booster wax in between sessions. feels, looks and smells good!
i'm having problems removing tree sap and hard water stains (i went away on vacation for a few days, came back and all this crap on my car). anyone have suggestions?
I bought turtle wax bug & tar remover, worked on most, but now i'm thinking i should just clay bar.

I use Zaino and like it, but it's not a wax. I've heard great things about Meguair's #16 (if you can still get it - I think it's been discontinued), and have two tins that I should get around to using one of these days.
Bottom line is there is no "best" wax - all waxes and synthetic sealants (like Zaino and Klasse) differ in various ways, whether it's longevity, depth of shine, amount of reflection, even shade or tint of the wax and how it makes your car's paint shine through. You have to experiment and find out what look works and looks best in your eyes on your car.
That said, I don't think you can really go wrong with any of the recommendations in this thread so far.

For dark cars, I recommend BlackFire.

I have some great photos of an EVO that I detailed for a buddy. He cleaned it before I got it and then I did my magic (rather Zaino did its magic). Need to put back up on my Cardomain site. Zainobros.com has pics too that are fairly accurate.

You know, I was a Zaino guy for a while there until I tried Klasse. In fact, I'd be willing to trade bottles of Z1, Z2, Z5, plus whatever ZFX I have left for more AIO and SG...
Im only going to clay my car once a year, and with AIO, I dont have to strip off anything since is has cleaners built in and as I've seen on my wife's SUV, the durability is supurb. Cuts down the time...I just apply with the PC, add a layer or two of SG and top that with S100...Fabulous.
