I have bad news. The new aftermarket kit which has the blue plug-in part on the foglight switch not only has install problems on the harness but also the foglight switch itself. The foglight switch DOES not fit. It is bigger then the recesses where the foglight switch should go.

You can see this for yourself by trying to install the foglight switch. Just look under the bottom part of the Moonroof, VSA OFF, and two Blanks and you'll see a part to put in a flat head screw driver. Cover the flat head with electric tape or cloth (so you don't scratch the plastic) and pry the piece off. You can try to insert the foglight switch. It just doesn't fit. Can some1 please confrim this.

Also PLEASE ADVISE EVERYONE TO STOP BUYING THESE USELESS KITS and if you have already purchase them, please contact your ebay seller. It seems everyone on ebay is selling these stupid kits now since they all have the same supplier.

ha, are you the first one to try to fit the switch in? I thought like 4 ppl got the same kit already. Don't tell me nobody tried if the switch fit, yet...
That was the first thing I tried on mine when I got it The night I got the kit I already put the switch in the rest I installed few days later when I figured out the kit (that was the JDM kit)

http://www.handa-accessories.com/acc...glights4dr.pdf

thats a link to the 2006 USDM Accord fog light kit install PDF...

The harness looks awfully close to the 3Harness kit we're all getting...

Peregrine, anyway you can take a look at that and see if its something that could be made sense of in order to figure out our harness?

I looked through this PDF. But since nobody sent me a detailed pics (as I asked for b4) of the actuall harnesses and connectors, I can't do a comparison.
But it's possible that these ppl on ebay started selling 03-05 TSX fog lights with 06 TSX or Accord harness. It wouldn't be a first. Whoever designed this doesn't really care, and they just resell this crap. That explains why the switch doesn't fit.
Have you tried connecting your kit using these instructions yet? Where did you get stuck?

I haven't tried anything yet; I'm afraid it wont work and then they wont let me return it for a refund.

Tonight I can try the switch, I'm shocked that that wont fit (if it doesn't) it sure looks right! I'll check that part out tonight, and I'll take better pics of the connectors and post em' up.

Jesus! I really wanted to add fogs, but now I dont know what to do. There's like 50 different kits and harnesses, and nothing fits right, plus no instructions??? lol Friggin confusing.

I guess the moral is: buy the factory accessories and you'll get factory quality and fit. Maybe we can get a group buy for this?

Step 42 shows where to connect the 6-pin connector, and that definintely exists. However, other steps show to connect plugs to connectors that I know don't exist in the TSX, so this instruction is definintely for a different car. Could be 2006 JDM Accord or more likely, USDM Accord / JDM Inspiron.
Which still, is not to say that it can't be connected, but not exactly the way shown in this PDF.

Please, stop wasting my time asking me questions how to connect it until someone takes time to actually fully document, in detail, the new harness. Full & close-up pics, all hardware, etc. I won't respond to anymore questions until then.
I'm sorry, I'm not telepathic. I can't see what you can without those pics. The only pic I saw of the one harness gives me a vague idea which I already thoroughly documented. Don't count on magic answers - do some work first.

If you find OEM JDM kit (kit B on the first post) - that fits just fine and I wrote the instructions for that. Nobody had problems with those kits, and they were much cheaper than OEM USDM

I'm officially getting the fogs for christmas. So I've gotta wait another 6 days before I can open the box so I don't have access yet. If nobody has posted pics by then I will get them up.

ok, these are good pics. We can see all connectors up-close. But I also need to see the other side of the connectors where the wires go in, to see wire colors, and we need pics of each harness laid out straight with every extension/connector visible. Only then I'll be able to understand how each harness connects and I'd be able to follow each wire be color to see what it's intended to do. Please, make sure every wire is visible on the close-up pics, if not, indicate on the pic what color each wire is and point to it. Thanks
