Honestly i'm waiting on the word about 06-08 fog lights. if thats the case ill have a bigger market and the inital price will probably be only 5-10 bucks higher.

I'm tryng find a way to cut it with maybe a handsaw and a drill attachment.
trying save the most money, but bring out quality stuff.

no offense to mistaken but his foglights were a bit edgy so i still needed to sand them down.

Also it is possible to get yellow, alhtough on the rsx side i hear alot people are getting bubbles.

It kind of went no where since the guy from crsx doesnt answer pms very well.

I still need to get the tool to make the lexan on my own. which would cost a bit of money to do for people. So far has been put on hold till I get enough people interested to bother with this project.

Have you guys tough of Polycarbonate ?

"At a thickness of .033", Redco™ Polycarbonate sheet can withstand over 240 inch-pounds of impact. This equates to a 3/4" hailstone falling at 96 miles per hour! Redco™ Polycarbonate sheet maintains this superior impact resistance at temperatures ranging from 40°C to 250°C."

You could also buy Safety goggles and cut/modify them to fit in the fogs.

The problem is cutting it or even lexan is quite difficult to do in a fashionable manor with out proper tools...

I have used this method twice. It only cost me about 5 bucks for the sheet of lexan at Home Depot, then you can pick up the sealant at any auto parts store for around 7 bucks. I broke out the glass from my housings and then traced the size of the housing onto a sheet of paper. Then just put the sheet of paper under the lexan and trace it with a marker. I just used a Dremel tool to cut the fogs out. The edges can be rough for 06-08 because you can't see them once the bumper is on. I used lots of small clamps and let the sealant settle overnight. Use plenty of sealant so no condensation will happen. When I get some time I will make a DIY

I need to do this mod as well. I've had a cracked foglight since Sept of 2006. Bought the car in Aug of 2006.

I should locate some yellow lexan.

I don't know if they make yellow lexan. I just went to a local tint shop and they cut me out a sheet of yellow film for 10 bucks. It was enought to cover 4 fogs...I definitely would recommend running HID fogs so the film doesn't bubble. I drive over 3k miles a month and mine haven't bubbled yet, but I don't use my fogs often
