CRSX Lexan fog for sale idea

Hey guys i talked to imistken on c rsx, and asked him for the supplies for lexan for, since he offered me to help him host on here and the other site, would you guys be interested in his lexan fogs.

I so far ran them and had no problems also heard hes a bit slow when making them but never has failed in deleiverly really.
Personally i'd do it myself but if he is offering might as well let him

I set up a poll which is better and more trusting.

I need one the mods let me know where i should set this up in the forsale forum or in lighting.

Ok guys, everyone has broken their foglight lense. I did my reseach on clubrsx and used Lexan LX10 plastic sheet to replace the lense. Here is my instructions with pictures.

1) Take off the housing. Buy Lexan LX10 .093 thick from Home Depots ($5). Make sure you buy a BIG piece because you WILL need to make a few before cutting the perfect shape.







2) Break the OEM glass off. Dig out all the OEM sealant.



3) Trace out shape onto the plastic sheet. It won't be perfect....so test around.



4) Using an electric saw and and electric sander, cut out the pieces and perfect it's shape.







5) Fit it onto the foglights until you make one that is as fit as possible.

I don't think the rocks on the road can break this too easily. I'll see if this will last me 10,000 miles. At least it's stronger than the OEM glass.

i made some out of the same ish and mine started bubbling the same night..

the bubbling is from heat so how would the glue cause that

... the actual lens was bubbling? maybe you're bulbs are too hot.

yes the lens is bubbling..i upgraded to nokya yellows which burn cooler than the stock bulbs but i plan on getting hid fogs and hopefully it wont happen again

Its still a great solution vs 110 a pop for a replacement glass at the dealer.

yea, my cousin owns a glass shop and ive been meanin to talk to him to see if he had any ideas on a better fix for them

I've been really lucky so far. Mine have not cracked yet, and I'm dropped. Dang it, should NOT have said that. Quick find some wood.....

I crack one of my fogs in a year span. So had to replace one awhile ago and then the other recently.

Mine cracked, but the lamin-x is kind of keeping them together. I'm really pissed with the PW:JDM quality, second dam time they broke
