Thanks molder!

How did you extend the wire? Did you cut the grounding point and extend the wire (2 solder points) ---x-extension--x--0

or did you just solder another wire with a grounding point to it?

That's exactly how I did it. Cut it, attached another wire and attached/taped up both ends so I still had the original grounding point. Obviously soldering is better, but I was lazy and people have said electric tape worked well for them.

Hey I was just wondering if any experienced this problem....

I just installed my fogs + HIDs for them but some times the driver side fog doesn't come on...I would say over 50% of the time it wouldn't come on....What type of problem would this be? the HID kit or the Fog light Harness?

Unfortunately I didn't have that problem. Does it happen when the HID kit is not hooked up?

well its actually fortunate =) hahah

nope I tried putting the stock h11 bulb back in the fog light housing and I don't see any issues - i have been reading and I think that there is an issue with the fog light housing and trying to power the 55w hid kit that bought from DDM what type of kit did u get.

It was so long ago I ordered it but I believe it was the 35W slim ballast kit. Only simple thing I can think of is maybe its not plugged in all the way since it doesn't lock?

Yea sounds like you either don't have a strong/solid connection where you spliced and twisted instead of soldering or maybe there is not enough power being supplied. I have the 35W as well as that's what's recommended for fogs. 55W is typically for headlights due to the heat being dissipated etc. I know they said on their site you may need some sort of relay or connection directly to the battery or something.

Here it is: HID Accessory Wiring Harness: DDM Tuning - HID Kits, HID Bulbs, DEPO Lighting, BMW and Porsche Performance Accessories

hey guys i called ddm and they suggested that i use a wire harness to allow a higher current to flow through the wires. So it seems that the ebay kit doesn't allow. the wire harness allows the ballst to be connected direct to the power through a relay.
