Keyless Entry Issue
Anyone have any issues with their keyless entry?
I just noticed that my drivers side front door WONT lock or unlock
Even with the button on the inside it doesnt work.
BUT when i use the key it locks and unlocks
Any ideas?

depends.
if under warranty, it's free.
if not it can be up to $200 at the dealer.
usually around $120-150 though.
or you can do it yourself.

This is a common problem. I'm surprised it's not considered a recall. See if you can get it fixed for free at a dealership.

I believe its not a recall because the recalls are usually for items or systems that when fail can cause injury or death. I am surprised its not a TSB though.

I called a dealer here in Toronto, they told me $42 for the part, and $160 to install it.
Has anyone done the install? Is it easy?
Im pretty good with cars, i'll probably figure it out...

well, if your read my post above, you'll see the part for under $20, bought
from an Acura dealer, and the full instructions on how to take the door panel
apart and put it back together.
and yes, it is easy.

It reminds me of cabin air filter..... cheap part, easy installation, but dealer charges $170 in my area.

i have the same issue its my passanger front side so annoying im gonna have to bribe my friend to do it for me typical parts are cheap labor is a ripoff at the dealer its nice to have friends who work at the dealership

So has anyone done this install yet? Do you have to take out the glass or anything to switch the actuators out? I had to do this on a 350z and it was a pain in the ass.

actuator
I have the actuator installed, but it keeps glitching. When i press unlock, it unlocks and autolocks right back. Im not sure if there is anything in particular im missing. Would anyone be knowledgable? Thanks guys.
