depends.
if under warranty, it's free.
if not it can be up to $200 at the dealer.
usually around $120-150 though.

or you can do it yourself.

cost to do it yourself is really worth it.

This is a common problem. I'm surprised it's not considered a recall. See if you can get it fixed for free at a dealership.

I believe its not a recall because the recalls are usually for items or systems that when fail can cause injury or death. I am surprised its not a TSB though.

I called a dealer here in Toronto, they told me $42 for the part, and $160 to install it.

Has anyone done the install? Is it easy?
Im pretty good with cars, i'll probably figure it out...

well, if your read my post above, you'll see the part for under $20, bought
from an Acura dealer, and the full instructions on how to take the door panel
apart and put it back together.

and yes, it is easy.

It reminds me of cabin air filter..... cheap part, easy installation, but dealer charges $170 in my area.

So has anyone done this install yet? Do you have to take out the glass or anything to switch the actuators out? I had to do this on a 350z and it was a pain in the ass.
