question about part # 08B06SEC210 - mp3 bracket kit
hi i have a question about part # 08B06SEC210 is the mp3 bracket that you can purchase if you want to install aftermarket radio.

my question is ... where is the best place to purchase it.
another question is.... does it come with the top cover faceplate...?

I would say the best place to get it is from acuraoemparts.com

and No, it does not come with a top cover faceplate. Once you install the mp3 attachment, it replaces your pocket and faceplate.

You would have to modify the bracket to set in farther to have the little door close.

If you plan on purchasing it from the website above, use part# 08B06-SEC-210. I couldn't find the part without the dashes.

Thanks for the reply... I was really hoping for the faceplate to come with it ... now i def have to modify my flap compartment which kinda sucks cause I payed 100 cdn (shiped) for a part that I still need to do some modifications....

anyways.. I called oemacuraparts and they offered me to put it up for ebay

It is a bracket that replaces the pocket underneath the radio.

It was intended for the factory optional MP3 Player. People use it as an install kit for an aftermarket stereo.

just recieved the part and yes it does come with the top cover plate... no need for modifcations.... im a happy camper now

I have that kit and I like it but I have 1 complaint. There is about a quarter inch gap to the left and right sides of my standard DIN Alpine HU.

no way to fit a 1DIN HU "inside" the OEM pocket w/ cover?

is the 1DIN HU too wide to fit "inside" the pocket?

or just no one tried it coz it has to be custom work?
