XM Stopped Working!! Help!!
So my battery was disconnected for installing my fogs, and I didn't have my radio unlock code and had to get it from the dealer. When I finally got it today, my xm stopped working! If I hit the cd/aux/xm button it only goes to CD and not XM. I also have an iSimple hooked up and don't know it maybe it wasn't working because of that. Anybody else have this same problem? Any help would be appreciated as I can't deal with FM!

Is the iSimple working normal? When you disconnect the battery the iSimple will sometimes stop working properly. This will lead to XM possibly be working incorrectly as well. You can simply try to do a quick uninstall and re-install of the iSimple and see if that fixes it.
Are you also hitting the CD/AUX/XM button and turning the tune knob to get to XM?

It won't even show it as an option (the AUX1/AUX2/SAT/IPOD won't even come up) and it will just stay on CD. I was thinking I would have to do that but was too lazy at work to take out the cubby. So you think it would be ok if I just unplug it and replug it in? Would I have have to take apart the iSimple and replug in the xm cable only?

Yea sounds like you just need to reinstall it. All you have to do is act like you're installing it again. You just need to unplug it from the car and radio and then plug it back in and it should fix your problem. I had to do this when i disconnected my battery one time to get the iSimple working again. It should fix your XM issue too, hopefully.

I tried unplugging everything this morning and no luck. XM straight into the radio works, but after pretending it was a clean install of the iSimple, it still doesn't work. When I go to XM with it plugged in, the "CH" light on the radio comes on, but nothing loads at all. Any suggestions? Also I know you're supposed to be able to update the iSimple through the computer, any way maybe I should do that?

Hmmm, weird. Are the little notches on the iSimple all set correctly? I think all of mine were turned off...or all on, I know they're all in one position lol.
Have you tried to cycle out the mode when you hit the CD/AUX/XM button by spinning the tune knob? Sometimes it needs to be cycled. Have you connected the ipod and does it work fine?
