12000k lights help

I just got an 05 acura tsx and im looking at modding it up. im first going to change the lights and i was wondering if the purple lights are legal and how can i get the lights set or whatever you do to change it?

12k are not legal... but to each is own ...u will most deff get pulled over....anything 10k and up it pretty much for show....goodluck...

They're illegal but if you want them, you can get them off eBay for fairly cheap.

from personal experience i didnt get pulled over but the output wasnt worth a damn and i would never do it again, i got some 6ks and loved them but am now back to stock but i personally wouldnt go over 6k because of visibility

As said above. Not legal and the problem you'd have with cops would depend on your area and how strict they enforce something like illegal lights. Some places couldn't care less and other places they will pull you over.

6000K is the highest I'd go as well in terms of look and visibility since any higher your output is crap and pretty much useless. 6000K gives you that bluish tint, 5000K basically pure white and arguably the best light/visibility output and 4300K (stock) is good too.

If you want them then go for it but imho it looks retarded on all cars unless it's specifically a show car. I see a CLK drive around my area from time to time with pink head and foglights, looks too dumb. But if you're set on them then I agree by going on eBay and getting a set for a relatively decent price.

I have 10k and I hate driving in the rain. But then again I barely drive in the rain.

It most likely is illegal. I had 10K before and couldn't see a damn thing at night when it rained. I swear I drove slower than a grandma when I had those on in the rain.
