iSimple71 Questions

So i am looking into buying an iSimple71 off ebay,
ISIM71 iSimple PXAMG iPod Adapter kit for Imports on eBay.ca (item 130341682568 end time 02-Dec-09 20:25:47 EST)

I live in Canada and i just want to make sure this will work with my 2004 TSX no navi and will it display the text?

If you have XM capable (basically a button that says XM), then there is text support

It technically works on the 04 with no text support since the 04 tsx has no xm radio support.

There are other units that can get you audio for a cheaper price than the isimple.

So the iSimple71 will work just without the text display right? I have a 6 cd changer too but theres an AUX button that does nothing lol.

crazyazn : What other units would be good? I read somewhere that isimples work better with ipods or something like that.

The iSimple works wonders with the iPod family. Charge, playback, and browsing through the head unit is a wonderful feature. I always suggest it to people. I love using it. Even when not playing music, I enjoy the fact that I can charge my phone on it. Even plug it in when the car isn't running for a quick 30 min charge (lil slower I think). Install is super easy, I even have the cord running under my center console into the armrest area and have the cables sneaking out. Looks clean and for security. Even if you don't have text, you can use the mini cable to run the audio (which if nice if you want to play the XM/Surius app or Pandora or even youtube) and have the main cable to charge it.

I know you asked crazyazn that but I enjoy helping others lol
