which one? comptech? spoon?
there's the adapter type short shifter which is just an extension you add to your shifter.
then there's teh type that replaces your entire shift assembly (way more expensive, $40 vs $300).
I ahve the comptech adapter type, i'm pretty satisfied with it, noticeable shorten throw, very crisp feeling (like gates). b*tch to install though (for me atleast)

$40 one is the one i only saw in TSXparts there. i never see the $300 type. sounds soo pro. same as u, i am thinking to buy the comptech as well. but then, i wanna compare with about this price which is better and worth. any idea? dunno too much the short shifter so need experts' help.

thnx for Spyguy's answer, and how hard when u installed it? lots problems?

it wasn't hard at all, it was just one step was hard, the first step!
you have to remove the plastic console where the shifter is, and its held down by clips, so pulling it up and out wasn't easy, i actually broke the trim around the shifter (glued it back, looks the same), but it was just annoying more than anything, after that, it was a breeze.
