DIY wrinkle black Valve Cover

just wanted to show you guys my old (gold on ep3) & new valve cover (black on cl9)








Mugen Carbon Fiber Ignition Coil Cover is the only thing missing!

so you just painted the valve cover... did u need to sand it or prime it with anything to get it to accept the paint?

I sprayed the stock valve cover with some paint stripper then i sanded it down with some i think 200 grit then 400 grit. Washed it, dried it, then masked off some parts of it and painted it with VHT wrinkle paint.

I used this method before and i also tried using primer first then vht wrinkle paint but there were no diffirences. so far i have painted 4 valve covers total.
