Where to buy Comptech 5AT SC?

I read on the other forum where someone had gotten their CT SC for 3,700...shipped! That is roughly 600 bucks cheaper than what Comptech is selling it for on their site. I figure I could buy my Stainless CT headers with that $600! He bought it from Cush Acura in Escondito. Does anyone know anything about purchasing parts through dealerships? Or is Cush Acura some kind of parts specialist? How could they sell it that cheap? Lastly, if a dealership will sell you a part like a SC, does that mean that it would be covered under warranty? Lemme know.

the dealership is prob just a vendor for them and prob buys the parts at cost. and than marks them up to the price that comptech is selling it for becuase thats the MSRP like anything. if its cheaper im sure it because they want to move things and pass on a savings to u and me. i used to buy ford motorsport (racing now) parts at downs ford and they were a authorized distributor. if comptech offers a warranty than i believe the dealership would have to uphold it if something happens. but i bet u would have to send it to the dealership first and than they send it to comptech for warranty issues...if there is one at all...

The TSX SC is so new..i'm not sure why they would need to 'move' them at cost.

They are a Authorized Comptech reseller, so you will get to keep your warranty. Just contact them, and ask for a price quote.

Use the ask a seller link and get a quote. I've heard of a few people who have gotten that quote, so I would definitely contact them. That price is legit.

Unless you have a 2005 with a 2004 ECU.

But since they cracked the ECU for 2005 MT TSX's, i'm sure a SC applications is right around the corner.
