Weapon R Intakes?
Anyone got one for there tsx or ever hear of them. i was thinking of buying one...i know i know ur all gonna tell me get a cold air...well guys i dont want a cold air I want a short ram setup- sorry i want to be diffrent....Truth is i bought the Injen short ram off ebay- 99.00 shipped two weeks ago so i thought...well today i call the place and they tell me its on backorder...so i get injens number and as of January 1st 2006 Injen told me they stopped production on there short ram setup for the tsx!! So i got my money refunded...for an extra 10 bucks i can get the Weapon R Dragon intake- From the pics i cant see a diffrence between it and the Injen...so i think this is the way im gonna go....just want to know if anyone has feedback on the weapon r intakes....I know u all can yell at me get a cold air and what not...but i just want to be diffrent...

i think the Injen's intake can be either short ram or cold air, just by adding an extra arm...
the part # is RD1430P or RD1430B (P for polished, B for black)
i dont know they stopped producing these, but i think there are still many in the market... check out www.tsxparts.com Norman will give u a deal =)

yea im not looking to spend 200.00 on a intake and only use half of it...i ordered the weapon r dragon today...let u guys know a review on it once i get it...115.00 shipped to my house for a short ram set up...and for once it was cheaper somewhere else other than ebay!

the last weapon R product I had was total garbage, I will never purchase a product from them again

I got an intake and the foam started to come apart after like 3 months and flew into my engine

just my .02 and past experience, this was YEARS ago though, mabye they've improved

Got the Weapon R Dragon Last week...Quality is really good...nice and polished...Good unit altogether....Really happy with it too...loud when im on it...quiet and hardly noticeable when im driving normally and for 120.00 bucks how can u go wrong...

good stuff, is it a foam filter?

if it is be careful once you have it for a while, mine degraded something fierce, but mabye they fixed the problems with the first gen ones

like I said it was a long time ago

Yes its a foam filter...but its really not bad at all..if it gets bad ill replce it with a K&N Conical...But thanks for the heads up
