Aem Short Ram Intake Problem/question

hey for those of you who have the aem short ram, does the filter leave an indent in the black padding on the inside of hood? I've noticed that my filter left an indent where the filter is. please let me know thanks!

pic please

it could be the filter is hanging too high and rubbing the padding.

I might be able to diagnose a little better with a pic, so we'll take a look when you post one. There may be a way to lower the filter some, so it doesnt rub. Because also, when it rubs, its not good because it doesn't have as much free flowing air going through since a part (around 1/3) of the filter is being blocked from sucking up air.
