Help with Injen CAI
I'm having some problems with connecting the air sensor sensor grommet. Can anyone give me some advice on how you did it? Heres a picture of what I mean http://img233.imageshack.us/my.php?image=img0972kz1.jpg
Also when I start up my car the engine and VSA exclamation icons light up. I'm guessing the engine icon lights up because of the air sensor but any reason why the VSA lights up?

What year is your car? When installing the CAI, you shouldn't have to remove that sensor/plug. You might want to re-check all your wiring and installation diagram. I'm certain your attributed problems may all be related to that plug.

Hehe ya I figured out I was suppose to reuse one of the things from the old intake. The VSA light is off now, do you think the engine light will eventually vanish?

I don't know why you have a check engine light. But to have it reset/turned off, you'd need to head down to a dealership. Have them make diagnosis on what the error code is as well before it is erased. I'm very much certain, it'd be attributed to your installation errors.

your warranty would only be void if they believe that a problem is due to you having an aftermarket intake
what did you plan on doing? take the intake out everytime u go to the dealership

That will be so much work for the CAI. Last time when I went to dealership and told them my moonroof is kinda rattling, they examined and test out my car throughly, and put the following comment on the Service Statement. "Aftermarket Air Intake, Aftermarket Header, Aftermarket Cat, Engine strut bar, tight rear bar (RSB), and under body brace (Cusco). since this car has so many aftermarket parts we are not sure what cause the rattle." Even tho they put that comment on my statement, but they still lub the moonroof rail and solve the problem.

When your engine prematurely fails or will not operate, it will be a different issue altogether. Yes, an attributed problem from a modification will no doubt void your warranty. More concerned when related to expensive and parts requiring replacement or excessive workshop time to address/resolve.
