Hondata Ecu Question.

im new with the TSX... Do they have to tune the hondata differently as u get mods? For instance.. i have a stock tsx (engine wise)... and if i got the hondata i can mod away without having to send back the ecu?

Nope, just reflash and the ecu is good to go. Adding intake, headers cats later on, the car will 'learn' everything.

If you just added mods that kept the car naturally aspirated like I/H/E, then the reflash will relearn to the mods that you've done.

If you go with the Comptech SC, then you'd have to send your ECU to Comptech so they can program it for the SC - you'd lose the reflash program of Hondata and be out $600.

hmmm sounds good too me... honestly i dnt think ill b gettin the supercharger for a little bit if i do... im gonna prob go with the intake first then the ecu reflash just cuz im still goin to school and i have to show my parents i can do good lol... yea and 06 as a present is nice to kno =]

So are you saying that if you "do good in school", your parents will buy you a supercharger for the tsx which I assume they also bought you? You are very fortunate to have such giving parents.

Hey theyd rather me do good in school and they pay for it.. then me do bad in school and i have to make the money and kill myself... i guess u can put it that way... but thatll b over years...
