Hondata questions (06)
procedure questions...

I take out the ECU and take it somewhere and they reflash it? or do I have to send it in?

I tried to do a search, no avail... any quick answer?

you gotta Fill out the form on their site.... send it into hondata.......takes them about 3 days... and they send it back. alrite next time search harder! =D

I didn't know u can just drop by and have them do it... I'm leasing an 06 (at) and I really want to get the reflash. Do you guys recommend that I buy an 06 ecu and reflash it or should I use the one that is currently on my car

Yes you can. I called a local place and said they can do it same day, but it'll take pretty much all day, morning to evening. not sure if thats true for all places, but the so cal place i called that was the procedure. he said that they MIGHT be able to do it by mid afternoon, depends how busy hondata and their shop is.

i guess if u live near by hondata it could be done the same day, but i would think they wouldnt just push shipped orders aside to do the local job first.
