Thats a basic bolt on setup. Decent bang for the buck mods.
CAI will get you more HP, so my suggestion is do that, but then again, your car your choice.

Theres been a LOT of discussion on this. Not just here, but on every car forum i can think of. Fact of the matter is, i have NEVER heard of anyone getting hydrolocked because of a CAI. Just doesnt happen, unless you're revving through a VERY DEEP puddle. small splashes and such wont do anything. The filters gotta be COMPLETELY submerged in water.

fyi - read up on hondata and their findings regarding modding the tsx k24a2 . great read. stock airbox modded or the comptech is the best hp/trq intake along with the reflash. my mods are reflash, comptech icebox , and eventually toda race if its avail. - why leave any chances when all your homework has been done for you by hondata. just my .002 - Joe.
ps- and with 32 trq and 28hp increase midrange +8hp and +6 trq top end, lower Vtec engagement and a smoother trq/hp curve to boot. that to me is a well spent 600 vs. 600 for exhaust and 300 intake. step one should be reflash.

I'm in FL.. I even know someone who blew his engine this way! It can happen. The problem is that streets can flood and you can have no idea of how deep it is.

There are probably alot of shops in your area that can do a ECU reflash. Just look up some shops and ask if they got Hondata .
