Is there any possible way to have Hondata on an '05 Automatic?

Does any one know if hondata is still going to work on an 05 ecu automatic? If not will the 04 hondata reflash work on the 05?

The 2005 AT is the odd model left out for the hondata reflash. Something about how Acura embedded the VIN number in the software.

The only way to get Hondata is to use a 2004 ECU, flash it, then stick it in your 2005 TSX.

No body knows if Hondata is still working on it or not. The main reason why 05 5AT will not work is, as narci said, they embedded the VIN in the ECU. Therefore, wherever they run a scan (when doing emmisson test I guess), it will recognize as some other car. The only way to do now is get a 04 5AT ECU, and reflash it, but double the price.

For the 05 5AT/...its just the simple swap of the 04 ECU? Like plug and play? The VIN # wont make a difference?

It seems to be out of luck for the 05 ATs as the 06s AT have the reflash.....they cant seem to crack the code

another reason other than bluetooth that one should spring for an 06 over an 05.

Yes people have swapped re-flashed 04 ECU's into 05's. It works fine, just not very cheap.

I'm guessing like $400-600 for the ECU, Immobolizer, and Keys. Then $595 for the reflash.
