turbo tsx

ok so iknow this has been discussed b4 but i want to get an idea if i should embark on this semi fool hardy pllot of mine. i want to turbo my tsx really badly. the rdx has same engine w/ turbo (ive been told). no wi have two options 1)engine swap 2) take the turbo from the rdx get the engine map from the rdx mount it in the tsx talk to hondata/hydra abt having them do a custom program. take the internals from the rdx (if they are stronger). and then package the kit w/ hondata's blessing of course.

step 2 would be a bit more expencive and would benifit every1 out there who wants a turbo tsx option one i would still have to put down mad cash and then i would still have to get the ustom engine mangment. so i dunno which one i should do. so my question is if i embark on either option which one seeems more likely to succeed. thanks in advance for all opinions....

sincerely
Ezra

There's an article on one of the Tuning Magazine (forget the name) a couple months ago. Basically there's at least 15+ parts are VERY differences in a K24A2 and the K23. It's not a statement that it's not interchangable, but it will be easier to built a Turbo K24A2 then just swap the K23 in. However, if Engine Swap is an option, Hondata K-Pro for TSX will not be too far away~ HAHA

From all the research that I found....turboed TSX is at least over 10k...

1. Do a JDM K20 engine swap and ECU as well. YOur air con won't work and maybe some other things as well, but you can fit a HKS turbo no problem.

2. DO a whole custom system. Custom turbo, pipping and ECU. No greddy piggyback, but just a brand new custom ECU, lose alot of options in car as well.

3. Wait 2-3 yrs for a soltuion. NOthing is impossible, and I heard from somewhere that some company is developing a turbo for the TSX already...

I would love to also do a turbo some day...but im gonna wait till a nice kit comes out. Instead of trying to do a custom thing, i'll wait for some company to develop a nice turbo...then i'll get it!!!
