Comptech Exhuast vs Greddy Exhaust
I need help trying to figure out what Exhaust to go with.
Comptech Stainless Cat-Back Exhaust
Greddy EVO2 Dual Muffler Exh. System
Let me know your thoughts. I will be getting this in the next couple of days. Chyllintsx told me to go with the Comptech.
Thanks for your help.

Hi Big Ben,
Honestly it depends on your taste.. I have the Evo 2.. I think the roar and sound is better then the comptech however the tips are pretty big so you will definintely need a skirt package. Preformance wise I wouldnt think there is much of a difference as exhausts dont generally generate much. If you go with the comptech exhaust you will not have a problem adding any brand of an RSB however if you go with the EVO2 then you need to go with the progress RSB as the comptech RSB will touch the EVO2 exhaust. I hope this helps, if you need pics of any other questions let me know i've had the EVO2 for more then 5 months now and I love it other then I need the mugen kit to match the tips now hehe..

It is more of the sound that I can't decide on. I also like that the comptech has silencers if I have to go meet a client (I am in Sales / Marketing). I like the comptech look but haven't heard it on a tsx and not sure what it will sound like. I guess that is the only thing that is holding me back from getting the comptech. I love the sound of the greddy and yes you are correct about the size. I am not planning on buying a kit anytime soon so it might look odd. Thanks for your help. Post some pics with the greddy exhaust with no kit. Anyone with the comptech exhaust? (sound clips / video clips?)

I have the Comptech, the finish and quality is excellent and the sound is nice. Its not too loud unless you push the car definately not as loud as Evo exhaust. It all boil down to personal taste.

yea..just keep this in mind..with the evo2, you'd pretty much HAVE to have a kit or your car would look really weird..it'd be like putting rims on a car that isn't lowered
the tips on the evo2 are HUGE..i could shove my foot in it..lol
let me find my memory card adapter and put up a few pics for you!

Yeah I am not planning on putting a kit on it anytime soon. My wife is already happy that I am fixing to spend $2,500+ on MISC mods lol . Those pips are way to big not to have a kit, you are right. I want the same pitch as the evo2 without the pipes .
