apexi-imoni install problems

i 'm not getting a power to this thing, its brand new, and the cigarette adapter is in. the obd-2 port is right under the area with the vsa switch, right? anyone have any expierence with this thing

ive never had any experience with the apexi unit, but Im guessing it is similar to the Greddy Informeter, which I have used on my past vehicle...what I have noticed with these units, that there are usually a lot of bugs with them. Lets put it this way, I used the Informeter on my supercharged scion tC and in order to use it I had to put it in Honda mode because when in Toyota mode, it wouldnt read any of the diagnostics. I tested it out on other Toyota models, and I got the same results, only worked in Honda mode. These electronic gizmo's usually arent worth all they are said to be.
