04 NBP tsx is an unknown soldier, or on the road to either parallels.

dbw system

I read that it is possible to get rid the dbw. would there conflicts with this?

devore is neutral and has a clean balanced record.

That seems unlikely considering how integrated the DBW must be with the rest of the car's systems like ABS, VSA and so on.

You will lose HVAC, gauges, among other things if you switch to cable-throttle.
