voltage stab/ingnition boost

ok so on the vendor page and mentioned alot around the 'tuner/modder' scene are voltage stabalizers and ignition boosters. i understand what they do in action. but are they worth the money spent in order to get a better performing machine? is there anyway that these electrical fluxuations could be handled (through the icu?)

once again. im sort of a newbie here. i have modded b4 but that was buyin hardware from lingenfelter and doin some installs... never dealin with what to buy and when. as of now im lookin at pullies, or intake (or both). or the electrical goodies formentioned (voltage stab/ignition booster). the problem is im only goin to be doin on mod at a time. and i dont want to sacrafice my ow end tourque cuz lord knows we all need more of that.

another question is which mods will help me get a higher initial tourque level.

I'd say go with hondata first.

not enough money and too much time. all of those mods would only take a day to do hondata would take at least 3 and the nearest shop is way to far away from home for me to be able to do this... at least now

you can buy the reflash online at clubrsx.com and then mail the ecu to hondata and be w/o your car for maybe 3 days. No need to go to a shop to do it. Also for bolt ons just get cat, header, intake, pulley's you'll notice a lil difference. All of those can be bolted on in a matter of hours

for pullies i love my NST pullies from http://www.nonstoptuning.com/pKitHonTSX.htm , and then for intake i felt INJEN felt the best, you can go sri or cai with it, but on the voltage stabelizer and ignition booster its more of engine dress up stuff to me, you are not running a fully track car modded like hell so it doesnt need it unless you want the dress up

simplyscion can only hope to improve, or face mass condemn.

voltage stabalizers and ground kits are a waste of money...if you feel like you must have a ground kit you can build one yourself for 1/3rd of the money you would spend on a name brand. Ever hear of the saying if it aint broke dont fix it?? Its especially the truth with coil pack ignition systems. I wouldnt bother worrying about changing anything out with my ignition other than plugs a couple steps colder than stock unless i was running over 40 psi on something like a GT35R with a really large A/R(ive yet to see someone do it with a TSX). Dont believe everything you read when it comes to manufacturers.
