Comptech Short Throw Shifter

Does anyone have this mod? I'm having a ton of trouble getting the shift cable clip off and I'm about to break the whole shift housing!!!!
Can anyone help????????

if you are talking about that "U" shaped clip, take pliars and pull up directly with a slight side to side movement. should come right off and is fairly hard to bend...not impossible, just fairly hard.

Nevermind I got it with a pry-bar and surprisingly didn't scratch or damage anything. And wow what a difference in shifting!!!!! Thanks anyway!
