hondata newbie question

I have a o5' AT Tsx, and I'm looking to purchase the Hondata Reflash.
My question is since hondata hasn't made the Reflash for the o5' AT, why is everyone using the o4' AT Reflash? Why not the o6' AT Reflash?

04 and 05 ecus are the same
06 is differnt
07 is differnt too
alond with 08 we don't know why they did that.

05 is hard to crack for hondata, they say mainly becasue during the emissions test your vin shows up incorrect something like that.

There is no other option for you but an 04 ecu, because 06 is not compatible.

im kinda curious about this myself.. I want one for my 05 but not sure if i wanna pay 300 for an 04 ecu and i still havent found a price for an 04 immobilizer.. then you have to pay another 500 to have the reflash done.. what im more curious about is the fact of the immobilizer.. does anyone know if you have to have the 04? can i still keep my 05? and why isnt the 06 ecu compatible with an 04 or 05 model?

Thanks for the info...
I went to the hondata site and they say their never ever going to make the reflash for the o5 tsx AT.
So the check list of stuff to send is as fallows...
1. ECU
2. Immobilzer
3. Key
Ok so I made a couple of calls and i'm going to purchase a TSX 04 ECU
Does it matter if it comes from a AT or an MT?
What About the Immobilizer, does it have to be from an o4 or do I send the one from my o5?

YOU HAVE TO GET YOUR TRANSMISSION ECU.

I had bought someone who sold their AT 04 ecu because he did a transmission swap.

Do not buy ecus on ebay, they say its the tsx, but theres no way its the same as the accord.

Sounds good man, thanyou have been a great help.
One more question.... lol
do youknow anywhere where they sell an ecu for the o4?
I checked out ecuDirect.com they want $500
but no option for at or mt and i dont know if their legit
i called the dealer and they said 950 for ecu and immbolizer
plus the ecu has to be reprogrammed to your car at an extra charge

Alright so I'm on the rigt track.
I just bought a
Automatic
2004 Acura Tsx ECU
Part # RBB-A54

Ok so next step
Immobilizer

Questions;
A. Do I buy a new immobilizer, send that one with a key, plus ecu?
Or
B. Do I send the immobilizer on my car with matching key, plus ecu?

synch new ecu w/ existing immobilizer/key.

if you buy an immobilizer, it has to be from the same car the ecu came from. as well as the key. no sense in going through the trouble and buying another. you have one already. just find a dealership willing to synch it all.

What do you have to do when you trade someone my reflashed ecu for their stock ecu?
Do i need their ecu, immobilizer and keys and vice versa?
