Does Intake for RSX Type S fit in our TSX?

I have a 2007 NBP TSX..

and one of my buddy sell his AEM Intake whch was placed in his RSX Type S.

I was looking for the Intake and I just wonder if that intake will fit in my

TSX.

What about the two hoses that connect to the intake? Does the rsx have that?

ye. the intake is the short ram (AEM V2 Short Ram Intake for RSX Type-S)

I never had any change on my car and I am kind of worry for the installation.

Do you guys think, there is any extra work to install this intake?

since this is not for the TSX

3 things.

1. If i remember properly... 2006 throttle body diamter is 2.75 inches
the tubing that connects the shortram to the throttle body might need to be changed, or if its flexible high heat silicone, try warming it, and lubing it with some motor oil or whatever u got. the brackets also have to fit the tsx throttlebody.

2. the air temperature sensor (small hole) and the other crankcase vent (big one) thing or will plug in fine but you may need to buy a different silicone hose for the crankcase vent if it doesn't reach the hole, or maybe it will if u play around with the oem hose connecting the vent.

3. As for the vibration mount that goes on top of the battery... i have nothing to say for that... can't tell u if it'll align properly or not, u can sort of adjust the battery a bit left/right to get it in a good position..
if u got good tools or a shop, u can easily custom make one to properly fit it with some scrap metal. ie. welding a bridge from the intake tube to a bolt on the vibration mount or something.

take his intake and open ur hood, and look at the relative position of those 3 points. number 1 & 2 can be played with, but #3!!! if it doesn't attatch to the vibration mount properly, u better think of something or just forget it....

unless u can live with ur short ram banging around under the hood when u drive...
and if ur "buddy" isn't really giving you a great price,

my final advice.
just go buy the real thing, it might not be worth the trouble
