New to the TSX scene.. What are some good Mods to do??
My girlfriend has a 2004 Acura Tsx. i just got a bunch of cosmetic stuff coming, like blackouts, HID foglights, trunk lip spoiler, cross-drilled and slotted rotors w/ stainless steel braided lines. Besides the obvious intake, and catback, what are some things I can do to her car to help out the HP numbers?? any common mods? free mods? not bigass mods like turbo, nitrous and superchargers, but reasonable stuff!

Cross-drilled and Slotted rotors FTL.
That aside, there is headers, pulleys, cat, and hondata that can get you some HP gains.

Intake, Headers, Pulleys and Cat are gonna be your biggest HP #'s...
Id also recommend you take a look at a Progress Rear Sway Bar, biggest bang for your buck mod out there

I think you should not mod your gf's TSX, cause it's not yours. And what if she don't like your mod? Spend the $$$ on your own car.

She wants me to mod it out. not heavily but cosmeticly and give it a little more up and go. Shes pretty much my wife so.... and as far as my car goes, there is really nothing more i can do to it. Im good at the domestic sceen not too much of the import, especially on the TSX.
Where might i find the pullies?
Might take a look at that sway bar but not really gonna go into the suspension too hard unless it gets lowered. whats a link to the sway?
what does FTL mean?

I know this is really off topic, but can you put up pics of your T/A?
FLT=for the lose. Which isnt good. FTW is for the win, which is good
Pulleys are a good idea, but if you got the money, Hondata. It's a reflash for the computer.

ok. i looked into the hondata stuff. its got an appointment with Jotech racing here in Dallas on friday. they are going to do a reflash, a catback, pullies, and a comptech icebox intake. they say that should give me around 60-70 horses? pricey for only 60 hp but w/e. that should be PLENTY for the car either way. i may decide against the pullies though.... we will see
Whats wrong with Crossdrilled and slotted rotors? I think they look and respond very nicely???

You want a big brake kit if you want the nice looking brakes.
crossed i heard have issues extra warping and some other issues.
even slotted rotors have warping issues, but their better than stock...
Those mods sound good and plenty.
I say take one at a time, it keeps ya wanting the next =) along with keeping the car still fun.

See you might think its pricey but look at the engines.
Mods for your car might not seem so prices because of the HP yield. 15-20hp per mod is normal for you. For us thats a nice accomplishment. Remember we got half of what you got+vtec hahaha.

Unfortunately, the guys at your shop lied to you because there's NO way in hell you're getting anywhere close to an additional 60-70hp with the mods you listed. You will gain ~30hp from the reflash where the power curve drops dramatically from 5k to 6k - but that's not PEAK hp.
With your mods (Icebox + catback + pulleys + Hondata reflash) on a 04 AT, I'm guessing you'll probably gain around 20 peak whp (or 25 peak bhp).
