RPMs dip then rise

So I noticed today on my 04 TSX 5AT that occasionally when i would let off the throttle the RPMS would drop down quickly to around 1000rpm or so and then rise back up to about 1700-1800 and settle there. Is this normal? didn't feel right...

I know what your talking about. It's normal. I thought it was an issue too but after driving my car and 2 loaner TSX's, they all did that.

No no, thats just the opposite of what happens with mine. When I'm driving along with my foot on the gas the egine revving at say 2500rpm, then i let off the throttle and the revs DROP waaaay down to 1000 or just under and then quickly jump up to around 1400 or so and stabalizes.... car almost feels like it shudders a bit when it happens
