What is the typical life of motor mounts?
Helllllloooooo! (first post),
Wife has a 2004 TSX, A-spec suspension, OEM body kit (sans trunk spoiler), fogs, MT, etc etc. She has a BRUTAL urban commute and has racked up 70K+ miles (already gone through rear & front brakes 2X!).
She is getting some vibration at idle. Nothing outrageous yet. The trans is not "clunking" going from Reverse to Drive, or anything that screams replace the motor mounts - but I can tell (since I'm in the car infrequently) that it's gotten worse.
So what is the typical life for a motor mount on these cars? Should I assume the front / rear are the ones that go before the others (I'm assuming the TSX is like other FWD 4-cylinders and they get torque rock front to back, thus those mounts tend to go first).
