2007 TSX 5 Spd 1/8 mile time
I went to Qualcomm on Friday and my best time was a ET of 10.7 with a RT of .601 for a 1/8 mile. I had VSA off. I also beat a Mustang Cobra 4.5L two times in a row! I was proud. His Cobra was also a Manual. So my 5spd TSX beat a V8 Cobra by .6 seconds two times. I had a lot of fun, it was a good time.

it was a drag race. at qualcomm stadium, they have legal drag races every other friday. it was lots of fun

yeah, it ends too soon. I only just barely hit the 2nd VTEC engagement in 2nd gear before I had to let off and brake. I think the TSX would be more competitive on a 1/4 mile.

I don't understand how a tsx beats a cobra? I'm not dissing my tsx. I love it! But a cobra is a v8 full of power!

In the 1/4 mile a cobra will win. It was still prob trying to get max traction. Or he sucks as a driver. Eitherway, congrats.

Well, when I bought the car, i wasn't really thining of modding it or using it for performance. I had owned all standard tranny vehicles(I had my awesome 1991 Prelude Si) before this one and when I was in the market for a new car, I wanted to go auto for the convienience but now i regret that decision so I am just making the best of what I got now. My next car is either going to be a NSX or TL-S (6 spd of course) but for now I'll just be happy with my auto.
also, the Cobra was a crappy driver. His RT was always like .6 slower than mine. But even then, he should have been able to cath up with me. I raced an Evo and my reaction time was .5 better than his but (i know he has turbo) but he still pulled ahead of me right away and got a 8 second run. maybe the Cobra driver wasn't really pushing his car, either way i had fun. But I raced the Cobra twice in a row and I beat him pretty much with the same time.
