Random Tech Cat for CL9

Does anyone have a rattle problem with their Random Tech Cat? Ever since I got my T1R Exhaust, it seems the Cat rattles due to the powerful exhaust note of the exhaust. I was running Comptech headers + the RT Cat and there was no rattle but now with the T1R exhaust added on, there is a rattle. I know its because of the slip-tube design on the RT Cat the is causing the rattle so I think I might take it off to get it welded. What do you all think??

It shouldn't rattle. I'm running Topspeed header, RT cat, and Tanabe MT exhaust without any problems. The only noise I hear is exhaust note and the standard Topspeed hiss sound.

Are you sure you have everything properly torqued at the flange between cat and catback? How many gaskets are you using? I'm running 2 gaskets from NAPA between cat and catback and have it torqued down really good. No CEL and no noises so far.

I think it might be that I haven't torqued it enough but I never throw any CEL's. It only rattles on start up also. Thats the only time. other than that, no rattle.

Sorry I meant start up and a minute or so after start up, the Cat is definitely rattling. Trust me, I have had my car lifted and listened to the Cat rattle. I seriously think it has to do with it being a slip-tube design fitting. There is space between the flanges and the cat itself. I have torqued the cat pretty damn well too.
