Help on choosing the right exhaust system
I'm not very familiar as far as what brands are better than others.. I've never had performance work on a car before.
My goal I'd like to achieve is to be able to hear a nice sound when I gas it and get a little extra kick in power. I don't want something that turns everyone's heads and makes people scowl in disgust.
I would like to keep cost low without compromising quality and performance (within reason).
I'm not looking for new headers or anything too drastic.

The stock exhaust already has pretty good air flow and the gains are minimal when installing an aftermarket exhaust. Don't expect a big increase in hp or w/e, your practically buying it for just the noise. (like me ) I went with the greddy evo2, the tips are kind of big but it sounds niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice. As for an exhaust that gives you the best bang for your buck, I have no idea. haha.

You should consider the Comptech exhaust.

You can also just go Random Technologies Cat. You'll free up a couple HPs while keeping your exhaust sound pretty much the same.

I personally like the Greddy SP2 (discontinued), Greddy EVO2 and Apex WS2 they are loud on WOT but nice and subtle on normal driving conditions. EVO 2 is nice but the tips are just too big for me :P SP2 would have been perfect since it sounds just like the EVO 2 without the huge ass tips haha

Like mclovintsx's said, the stock exhuast is already good. The only other reason to swap out exhausts is to save weight.
Go for a single outlet exhaust.

I have the Tanabe SMH exhaust and it looks and sound like what you might be looking for. As far as power like everyone else says you won't get much but the motor will rev more freely.

P.S. to MrHeelToe, when did you guys start selling the Fujitsubo, you are quickly becoming my favorite car parts company on the web. You keep getting more and more things in stock that i want for my car haha... maybe its a bad thing cuz you are making me wanna spend money faster than i'm getting it lol

Im selling the T1R exhaust, go to the classifieds and search for the thread. I know you would like this exhaust. I have had so many comments on its sound and looks. Its in the more pricey range but I am selling fairly low for how little its been used.
