A well tuned car will have no dips of jumps. I think the factory tunes VTEC cars so you can notice when the power comes on. Make you feel better about buying the car I guess.

But in reality, as smooth as you can get the power curve the better it is. That's what Hondata has done for you!

Agree, or let say the smooth powerband is what our car can achieve, nothing more.

definitely, the car is better in every way, i going to have to run it against del slow to see how much of an improvement it is, before reflash half a car behind.

Are you serious about half a car behind del-so? How far/speed are you guys going? Is it heavily mod?

I've took my friend del-sol w/ I/H/T/E/ECU by at least 1 car length repeatily in 0-60, and 40-80. Maybe my friend can't drive??

WHat kind of del sol are we talking about. I have a 93 SI (beater car) and my tsx is way faster than that SOHC Vtec.

Yup, I clicked it. I like the TSX section much better than before, so much easiler to nav thru it now.

OT: What's the differences b/w the Wilwood 12.2" 4-pot kit 2pc vs Wilwood 12.2" 4-pot kit 1pc rotor kit? The price differences hints something else must be different?? Send me a PM on details as I don't wanna thread jack lol. Thx.

If Hondata was that good, why didn't Honda do it when they built the car? That's one reason why I haven't done the Hondata mod.

It's possible that Hondata can negatively affect the car in the long run. Possibly premature engine failure since VTEC engagement point is lower. I'm pretty sure Honda could easily reflash the chip themselves during production at no extra charge.
