CEL eliminator question

heys guys....

just a quick thought. I had my CAT replaced with a high flow CAT here in the UK awhile ago (universal high flow,200cps), I have mentioned it on here before, this brought up the engine light problem as alot of you are probably aware of.

So after much thinkin I got a defouler or CEL eliminator from Elise and Marcus at Heeltoe. My question is simply will it fit into my high flow CAT? I have been told to unscrew the sensor, put it into the eliminator then screw the eliminator into the CAT where the sensor was.

I was thinkin about it, the eliminator is for the 03-08 accord/TSX,
but are all high flow CAT's different in size? the eliminator I have is a certain size but how do I know it will fit into the high flow CAT I have? are the holes for the Lambda into the CAT all one size?
you get me??

If it was for the standard CAT then all are the same, but you wouldnt need an eliminator if you had the standard CAT and surely different companies have different sizes n shapes with their CAT's??

Getting it fitted tomorrow but ive been thinkin about this whilst waiting for it to come. (the eliminator I have is pictured on Heeltoe)

If it doesn't screw in, you weld it in

The O2 defouler should plug right into where the O2 sensor goes, it just further out the O2 sensor to do the trick.

If it doesn't fit, weld it on like narci said.

Spark plug defouler works too. And you can get them at your local auto parts store.

it fit fine hehe but my guy had to do abit of custom work with the heat shield cos it didnt quite fit and the wires were very tight against it, just cut a gap in the bottom to allow some breathing room.

Does the defouler eliminates CEL?

Alot of members (incl. me) had defouler on high-flow cat, but the CEL pop back on after awhile (or long while). I'm suspecting that the high-flow cat is making the car runs rich and that kills the secondary O2 sensor.

You only need to put a defouler on your second o2

Get a L-Shape defouler so it won't hit against the heatshield.
