MagnaFlow Muffler
I made an appointment to replace my stock mufflers for some magnaflow. I would like to know if someone has done this already. If someone has sound clips please post. It is going to cost me 250 dollars (plus tax) for both product and install. Once I get it installed I will post pictures of the install and some sounds clips.

Their quality mufflers, they will sound fine, my friend has them on a lexus gs 430
he says its really loud though.

Here's a comparison between the Greddy Evo 2 and the Magnaflow. The Magnaflow should sound similar to what it would be like on the TSX.

That's awesome! I personally used to work for magnaflow and can attest to really high quality materials. These mufflers are practically indestructible and will sound great for years to come.

A common mistake people make is sizing the mufflers too small making the exhaust sound too loud. After they are first installed the mufflers will sound perfect. Then after about a week of driving the sound changes and gets a little louder.

The material used inside the mufflers reacts to heat and gets hard, which is great for durability but they get louder. So get your magnaflows a size smaller or a size longer than you think you need to get a perfect sound.

They are charging me 250 (plus tax) for both the mufflers and the install. Its not a whole cat back system just the mufflers

Update





Sorry for the few pictures. I was only able to take two pictures. My camera battery died and by the time I got home it was dark. As soon as I figure out this camera I will do some sound clips. If not then I will ask one of the guys at the meet this Sunday to do it for me and post it.

I will give you my impressions of the muffler tommorrow. Peace out

They look good but they were welded on?! I don't think there's any performance gain from that other than sound. Please let us know how they sound!
