You sure it's the cat problem?

The O2 sensor (along w/ wires) might hang low and you might actually break the sensor (or wires) instead of the cat, thus it will throw up a CEL too.

Unless you find someone trying to get rid of their stock for cheap, get Magnaflow or Random Technologies. More free flowing and probably cheaper than OEM. Also, if you do go OEM, make sure its an 06+. 06+ are better flowing than the 04-05s.

Where are you located? I have stock cat off of a 04'TSX with just a hair over 50k on it. PM me if interested, if outside the US, shipping could be a higher cost.

Did it bent the header too or just minor scratches?

Anyways, you need a new cat. For the same price (I mean retail) get 06 Cat, OEM quality and less restricted than 04/05. 06 has 400cells vs 800cells, so consider this as a free mod and put a smile on your face w/out worry about the CEL problem.
