AEM SRI DryFlow replacement?HELP

Ok, I have an AEM SRI with Dryflow filter. Which i believe it's 3" in diameter.
I am looking for a replacement filter.
Should I buy another dryflow filter?(this will be 3rd time buying if I decide to buy)
OR should I get K&N Filter?
http://www.knfilters.com/search/prod...x?Prod=RF-1047

Let me know if anyone has done this before or any suggestion.

Also, If you are K&N filter expert, can you tell me what is the difference in performance-wise between X-stream vs carbon fiber in top style?

Any to purchase soon. thank you in advance.

04TSXCGP is an unknown soldier, or on the road to either parallels.

AEM argues that the dryflow filter doesnt sacrifice performance for filtering power. I know that you will most likely get better gas mileage with the dryflow than you will with the k&n in my opinion. AEM uses the theory that filters such as k&n have to become dirty so to speak before they filter the particle size that the dryflow does, while the dryflow accomplishes this at the same time as allowing minimal performance loss, if any.

thank you for ur input. I wanted to try something new this time.
I know that aem's pipe diameter is 3". So I got K&N RR-3003.
This filter is pretty sick. I guess it sucks extra air, too.
Has anyone used this funky looking filter?

I used that filter many years ago and it works great less turbulence is created therefore the air flows evenly and faster.
