Feels Catback

hey guys, i was interested in purchasing this.

I know nothing about this at all.
The seller knows barely anything about it either as he just imported it for the customer.

He believes it's either 2.25 or 2.5 inch S/S.

I cant find any info on Feels products.
Any help/information will be appreciated thanks!

I do recall someone posting a picture of this exhaust on a blue tsx, but it was not discussed into detail.

cheers guys.

judging by the painted finish of b pipe. i'd say its mild steel. and only stainless from mufflers to flange.

And likely to be about 2.38".. that's my guess

He's confirmed that it's stainless steal.

It's just painted.

2.38", would that make things difficult if i wanted to install headers down the track?

2.38ish is a common JDM size... was just a guess, you should get him to measure it.

But shouldn't be a problem with headers as it's the flange that connects to it

from the feels site it says that the back part of the exhaust is mild steel. (while the tips are SS)
u gotta find the old feel pages then translate them haha cos they have more info on it individually rather than the pdfs that the new site has

More specifically, a "catback" exhaust does not even touch the exhaust manifold/header.

OP, if you are retaining your OEM cat, then any TSX header will bolt up fine.

Hey,

This site shows that it is clearly SS, I'm just wondering whether there was a model that WAS in fact made with mild steal? i'm beginning to think that the one i'm looking to buy is painted for protection.

http://www.heeltoeauto.com/FEEL-s-Ho...-pr-63173.html

Anyway, i'll be going to have a look at it in person tomorrow so i'll find out.

More IMPORTANTLY, i want to know the tone this exhaust makes? Anyone have any experience at all!?

I'm looking for something quiet like the Fujitsubo?
Given the layout of the Feel's exhaust with it's double resonator it seems as though it should be fairly quiet too, but i'm a noob so opinions PLEASE!

thanks

FEEL's is an oldschool high quality JDM company.
http://www.hondatwincam.co.jp/pdf/vol9a-009.pdf
^some current exhausts they have.

their parts are very rare in the US here though.
I know of one person with a FEEL's header, but nobody
with the exhuast yet.

you might be the first to put it on a CL9 in the states
that I know of if you go for it.

I have Mugen in favor of FEEL's on my list simply becuase
I know what the Mugen will sound like, where as I have
no idea about the sound of the FEEL's. But I have several
other parts from FEEL's on their way, and I can tell you their
reputation for quality is solid.
