I know it would be down grading but I have big plans.

I'm guessing your big plan is to Turbo it w/ a low-compression ratio engine? In that case it won't work well because we DON'T have a proper engine management like K-Pro. If you are willing to scarify some features on the TSX, you might able to run Dual ECU system for that.

Well if he wants turbo. He'll just have to just take apart the whole tsx and use just the shell. Then he can put in a dc5 or ep3 cluster. Ep3 or dc5 wire harness. Run Kpro. Use the throttle cable modification from the fg2/fa5. And whatever else he wants. It will work.

i was thinking about doing a whole wire swap over with a RSX type S wiring and ECM but keep my TSX engine. so i can get rid of the drive by wire system and use kpro. i have been trying to figure out a way to rewire a TSX engine to run a RSX ECM but the TSX has too much crap that questions my search for the potential power of the engine. in the book "building honda k-series engine performance" it says that hondata k-prod a TSX K24A2 motor and got a impressive gain of 42hp and 37lbs of torque. in the book they do not specify what car the motor is in so im guessing they had the K24A2 in a civic. What if you rewired the TSX with a RSX type S harness and ECU, getting rid of the drive by wire and throttle body. pretty much running a RSX TypeS ECU on a TSX engine. now would that immobilizer affect that swap over? or will it crank over with the right wiring? i was asking about the whole Accord engine cause if i cant turbo charge my TSX or even K-pro it then i was gonna take out my TSX engine and swap it into a civic. leaving my TSX with the Accord engine. yeah i am willing to take out my K24A2 just to get its full potential. whats a dual ECU system? just running 2 ECU's? im willing to lose VSA and cruise. im also willing to rewire my TSX. i guess im looking for hope in my TSX i would hate to get rid of her.

Keep dreaming big, but realize that you did in fact buy the wrong car...
For the amount of money you'd spend in this endeavor its no where worth it, it would be cheaper to sell the car buy something that came factory turbo'd and boost to your hearts content.

I know you did a lot of researchs, but my advice is go to the Honda-tech or CRSX forum for more info.
Swapping out the K24A2 into RSX-S or Civic is possible w/ K-Pro or whatever you want to do.
Swapping in another engine into TSX is... a mystery. You will have a hard time figure out how.

To answer your questions. It can be done. As I've already posted. You can use the tsx shell and put in the wire harness of an ep3 or dc5. And don't worry about the immobilizer. Kpro gets rid of it.

Btw If you plan on doing a k swap to a civic and turbo. You're better off using the crv/accord motor.

Its only limited due to the lack of engine management. Theres a few that have found a way around it.
