Sound clip of Super Touring cat-back
OK, finally finished with the sound clip of Modacar's "in-house"
version of the Comptech cat-back exhaust system. This system
sells for $505 including shipping...thats $376 less than the
Comptech system!
Its a high quality, polished stainless steel system, tig welded,
that goes on without a hitch....fits perfectly using the stock
mounting points.
The exhaust note is a low, agressive, non-raspy sound, which
you can now judge for yourself....heres the sound clip link:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jAAhkq4uWyw
See what ya think....I just don't see the $376 difference, not
even close.....

Do you by any chance have a comptech RSB and if so did this exhaust fit with it?

...I'm going out on a limb here so please excuse my ignorance
if I'm wrong....but, I take it that "RSB" stands for rear sway
bar.....
The answer is no, I do not have the Comptech rear sway bar
on mine.....but, I'm confident if you called a guy named Dale
at Modacar, (1-925-371-5888), he could probably answer that
question, since they not only sell the Super Touring exhaust, but
also the full line of Comptech products. He should know that
answer....

Before I purchased, Dale at Modacar, stated that the sound of
the Comptech and their Super Touring, were basically the same.
Thats when I then googled a sound clip for the Comptech, which
I liked after hearing it.
Now, after installing the Super Touring, I agree with Dale...to
me, it sounds the same as the Comptech sound clip.
May I suggest that you do the same as I did, as I doubt that I
will be doing a drive-by recording....sorry.
