J's Racing Dual Exhaust?
Hey everyone.
I'm thinking of getting the J's Racing Dual Exhaust.
It would be the first mod to my car.
Just wanted to get some opinions before I make my final decision.
Is there any other exhaust i should look at?
Let me know what you think.
Thanks

depends what you are looking for.
if you're more specific, we could help more.
have you looked into:
Amuse
Mugen
FEEL'S
what is the goal of the car?

I want a nice sound.
I'm not very big on gains.
I want it to look good.
Not very into the weight loss thing.
I like having high class parts though.
If that helps at all.
Just wondering what other people would look at/recommend.

well I'm going to buy the Amuse double.
I may not like it though, I have no idea how it sounds.
If I don't like it, I'll buy the 06-08 Mugen double instead.
Mugen is quiet, fairly deep, fits perfect, looks great.
and it's only a little over half the price of the Amuse one.
from what I've heard, to me, the J's exhausts are too loud.
the FEEL'S setup seems to fit your parameters.
there are some sound clips on heeltoe's site I think.
you might want to compare that with the J's.
so what is "look good" for you?
titanium blue tips? polished tips? mix of both?
small mufflers? large mufflers?
low and obvious? tucked up in and more subtle?
not too much to see besides the mufflers and tips really.
how loud? or how low?

I like both the blue titanium tips and the polished tips.
I don't want mufflers like the Evo2 thats too big.
Anything smaller than that would be nice.
I would like to to be low and obvious.
I want people to know that I have an after market exhaust.
I want to be loud.
But not too loud.
And i don't want to be anything like the Tanabe Hyper Medallion exhaust sound.
It's way to ricey and high pitched.
Let me know if that helps you out at all.

It is a great looking exhaust but if you are not into the weight or performance gains its a lot to spend for blue tips. You can wait for the Greddy SE to come out next month if all you want is funny colored tips.

I wonder if there's any hope for a single exhaust set up on the SE? Probally not...
