I'll be watching this thread, I'm looking to replace my clutch soon too. Transmission is the one thing I have no clue on when it comes to modding.

Not sure I would recommend an ACT clutch setup for the K-series.

I did a bunch of research before I settled on my ClutchMasters setup, and I read many horror stories on K20a.org about ACT clutches failing in RSXs.

what are some of the signs of a failing clutch besides slipping?

another sign is a nasty burnt smell from the clutch....another clutch i'd reccomend is the Competition Clutch series they are some great clutches, definitly no to ACT it was crap when i owned in my other cars including Spec.

well ur not really upgradeing the tranny when u do a clutch. Ur upgradeing ur inline drive not the tranny. if u did a short throw shifter or added and LSD or changed the syncros or gear ratios than ur doing tranny work. For a manual clutch is more or less drive train. but if ur clutch is failing than ur power from the motor wont be able to be put down. In a manual its another part in the series of things alot of people overlook.
