custom gearbox/ratio's HELP

Hi all....

Getting a bit bored of my current gearbox ratio's in my CL9 Euro...they just seem sooooo long and cumbersome. i have been donated a uk spec EP3 Civic TYPE R gearbox so my question to all is:

how can i make a hybrid out of the two boxes....? i would like to keep 5th and 6th nice and long for motorway/highway cruising speeds but want to achieve better acceleration. i have already installed a quaife atb which i will obviously re-use. can someone help with what stock and ep3 ratios are and which ones to swap over to get this target?

any help will be greatly appreciated

1 user from another web site swapped 2-5th gears from EP3's transmission into CL9's transmission. He said that the result was impressive, but after a few months ( 2?) the 2nd gear broke and damaged the gearbox. those transmissions have weaker 2nd gears and I would avoid putting that extra torque from K24 on them. Other gears seem to work well and deliver a nice result.
