IMO not worth it on a long term basis.
Think of how many times you plan to use it, and the fill up every time. Plus to have it installed
and you will only be limited to a certain amount of shots seeing how the block, pistons, rods will limit you.
Unless you are building a race motor or if you have a block guard or have the block sleeve, its pointless.
Stock, 50-75 shots would be good, but i would run 50 to be on the safe side.

well we have a shop we get the big bottles of nitrous cheap so refill is nothing just cuts back on profit, and the only thing ive had to buy is the nozzle and jets, which was $25 shipped everything else i have spare laying down at my shop, going to get an intake made and tap the bottom of it for sleekness so no1 see's it and only use it very very seldomly and maybe make a few dollars cause know one thinks anything about me doing stuff to make my car faster ha

Depending on your location, you also need a license to fill a bottle. CT is one of those states, I believe, so it would be a pain in the ass for me to run a bottle.

Wouldn't you need to run Kpro for nitrous as well?

it has gotten more expensive but if you have the parts why not. if its too expensive don't spray it.
i recently added nitrous to one of my 4 wheelers for the same reason it was better then having parts in my garage.
i don;t think kpro would be needed for even a 75hp shot. the general rule is to pull timing out once you get over 50% of wheel hp. run 2 stagecolder plugs premium fuel and you should be fine.
k-pro could help if you want to go much larger on the shot. ive ran 80% shot to motor power before ran fine just had to take the correct steps. (not tsx)

i wouldnt do nitrous, but if i had a sc or turbo id def do a water/methanol injection... seems to be pretty damn popular and effective.

you dont need a k pro to spray this car. As far as timeing retardation- ur gonna have to get a electronic controller to retard it if your going anything more than a 50 shot. good luck- you would be one of the first people one here to actually really do spray! seen someone who once posted pics of it but no one ever actually did it and posted dyno results or feedback. post pics of your install if you could. add it to the DIY and get you rep points.

why are you guys under the impression it will waste the motor?
supercharger= increased cylinder pressure all the time.
turbocharger= increased cylinder pressure all the time.
nitrous= momentary increase in cylinder pressure.
granted a quick spike in pressure has a tendency to shock rods or bearings but theres easy ways to avoid that.
if you know what your doing you can even advance timing on nitrous since its were you will make the most power. key word if you know what your doing.

key words is exactly! i had spray on two of my mustangs- one had a 125 shot the other 225 dual stage...msd and boost timing retard and everything- duel fuel pumps- u name it- shit was bad ass. expensive. The thing is since ur not tapping each plenum and just the intake hose one cylinder will get more spray in it than say the farthest from cylinder from the nozle. the furthest cylinder could lean out burn the piston. thats what alot of people dont realize and hence get scared of. the thing is dont go crazy with ur shot and do everything right precautionary and in the end people will make more power with spray than a turbo or supercharger because those two power adders take power to make power where nitrious is just added power at the push of a button

so, in the end...
what's the .. 'verdict'? (not sure if i use the right word), if i get caught having a nitrous in my car? It's gonna be the same as getting caught with a un-carb'ed aftermarket parts?
and and, nitrous.. hmm, is that thing dangerous? i mean, will it blow up or something if the nitrous got hit in an accident? @@.

lol watch fast and the furious haha
But seriously, I think it is highly flammable..compressed nitrous in a tank if ruptured will not be pretty. I think that's probably a huge reason why it's not legal in canada.
