Injen CAI

Hey guys, quick question if I may,
The Injen CAI, is it a paper filter or wire mesh inside?

And when is it good for cleaning or replacing?

Thanks

really depends on where you're driving... Injen says something about cleaning it every 15-20k miles, but i clean mine like every 6-7k miles (lots of dust and dirt where i'm driving)
