p2r throttle body and spacers, i manage to get through the install.

It was a pain but it did make my exhaust sound a bit louder. As well as increasing some torque and throttle response.

i thought there was a slight difference. i mean, it's like a $120 mod. it's nothing too pricey. so any gain would be worth it imo.

It helps quite a bit on 04-05 since our tbs are so small.

Hondata is neutral and has a clean balanced record.

Your intake is heated from three sources:

- The head
- The water heating of the throttle body
- Hot air from the radiator / engine bay

It is relatively simple to bypass the heating to your throttle body. Once that is done the next major source of heating is the head, and the heatshield gasket will drop the intake temps considerably.

If you wish to go to the extreme I have heard of some people resin dipping their intake.

The 09 TSX intake is about 2/3 plastic which is a good thing for performance.

It is a worthwhile mod. You will feel a slight difference, especially on an 04-05 as someone mentioned.
